1. Introduction

Liaison Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SEED product seeding platform ("Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the Platform. By using SEED, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

This Policy applies to brand accounts and all other users of the Platform. Creator data practices are separately addressed in the creator onboarding flow.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register as a brand, we collect your name, email address, brand name, website, social media handles, niche category, and return shipping address.

Creator Profile Data: For creator accounts, we collect name, phone number, Instagram and TikTok handles, follower counts (retrieved via ScrapeCreator), niche preferences, clothing and shoe sizes, gender (optional), height and weight (optional), and a secure shipping address. Follower counts are fetched at registration and periodically refreshed.

Shipping Addresses: Creator shipping addresses are stored securely and used exclusively to generate shipping labels via the brand's connected Shippo account. Addresses are never disclosed to brands or any unauthorized party.

Content Submission Data: When creators submit post URLs through the Platform, we store the URL and associated metadata to facilitate UGC licensing.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, actions taken, browser type, IP address, device type, and timestamps.

Demo Request Data: If you submit a demo request, we collect your name, brand name, email address, and phone number solely to respond to your inquiry.

Shipping & Label Data: We store records of approved creator applications and generated Shippo shipping labels for operational and audit purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To facilitate product seeding drops and creator matching
• To generate shipping labels via your connected Shippo account
• To verify creator eligibility, follower counts, and posting history
• To provide the UGC download feature to brands when creators submit post URLs
• To send transactional communications (application updates, shipping confirmations)
• To respond to demo requests and support inquiries
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the integrity of the Platform
• To improve and develop the Platform
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Between platform users: Brand accounts can see creator names, social handles, follower counts, niche, sizes, and posting rate scores for creators who apply to their PR drops. Creator shipping addresses are never shared with brands.
• Shipping carriers: Creator shipping addresses are shared with Shippo solely for the purpose of generating prepaid shipping labels at the brand's request and expense.
• Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the Platform, including database hosting (Neon Postgres), authentication (Clerk), file storage (Vercel Blob), follower data (ScrapeCreator), and shipping (Shippo). These providers access only the data necessary to perform their services and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or ensure user safety.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users via email prior to any such transfer.

5. Creator Social Media Data

SEED retrieves publicly available social media profile data — including Instagram and TikTok handles, follower counts, and profile information — using the ScrapeCreator API. We only access data that is publicly visible on these platforms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. or ByteDance Ltd.

This data is used to populate creator profiles and calculate eligibility for PR drops. It is refreshed periodically to remain accurate.

If you believe we have collected your social media data in error, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain user sessions, remember preferences, and analyze Platform usage. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may limit certain Platform functionality.

We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking or sell cookie data to advertisers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud.

Shipping address data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill active shipping operations. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Clerk, access-controlled database infrastructure via Neon Postgres, and role-based permissions across all services.

Creator shipping addresses are treated as sensitive data and access is strictly limited to the label-generation workflow. No human at Liaison Technologies LLC can view individual shipping addresses in plaintext outside of a formal support request.

No system is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us or using unsubscribe links in our emails

10. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a person under 18 has provided us with personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our Platform, please contact us.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify active users via email when possible. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
